The largest permanent hedge maze in the Southern Hemisphere!

Nestled in the town of George in the Garden Route the maze is one of the most remarkable attractions in South Africa. The maze consists of seven strawberry stations, a 25m underground tunnel and a look-out point to be found within 10,000m of pathways. The hedges are grown from over 30,000 Syzygium Paniculatum plants.

The objective of the maze is to find all 7 stations hidden inside. Stamp your maze card with the unique icon at each station. Make sure to find all 7 station to claim your reward at the end!

Recommending entrance – by 2pm the latest to ensure you have enough time to complete the maze by 4pm.

Maze checklist:
– Climb up onto the deck to get an aerial view of the maze.
– Take a photo at the strawberry.
– Walk through the 25m tunnel.
– Go through the one way door into the beyond…
– Take a selfie with a scarecrow.
– Be able to quote at least 5 strawberry facts at the end!
