Parc del Laberint d'Horta
The Parc del Laberint d'Horta is a garden-museum that occupies the grounds of an estate belonging to the Marquis of Llupià, in the Horta-Guinardó District. The work was entrusted to the Italian Domenico Bagutti, while the French gardener Delvalet was responsible for the plantations and the Catalan, Jaume Valls, supervised the work. It is today an exponent of the 18th century neoclassical garden with a touch of Italian physiognomy. It was inaugurated as a municipal public park in 1971.
In 1994 the premise underwent an in-depth restoration that transformed its conception into the category of historic garden. It highlights the domestic garden, the romantic garden, the labyrinth, the numerous water installations and the examples of sculpture it houses. Next to the gardens, the municipal gardening training facility "Laberint Training Center" and the Laberint Training Center Library stand out.
Neatly maintained Cypress hedge maze, with statues and fountains. The hedge-based arcs
majestically hanging above the hedged walls complete the overall composition. Approximately 44 square meters in area.
