Paro Taktsang (aka Tiger's Nest)

Sacred Buddhist monastery built around meditation caves in 1692 on a sheer cliff about 3,000ft (900 m) above the Paro Valley, Bhutan. Linked to Guru Rinpoche, who according to legend arrived here flying on a tiger. Reachable only by steep mountain trail; Bhutan’s most iconic pilgrimage site.
