Aït Benhaddou
Ancient fortified desert village (ksar) along the former Saharan caravan route. Built from earth and clay architecture. A UNESCO World Heritage Site (1987). One of the most famous historic settlements in North Africa and a frequent filming location for movies such as "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones".
