Somapura Mahavihara aka Paharpur Buddhist Vihara

A massive 8th-century Buddhist monastery in Paharpur, Bangladesh. A UNESCO World Heritage Site (1985), it was once a major center of learning in South Asia. The vast complex features terracotta artwork, cruciform architecture, and monastic cells, reflecting ancient Buddhist influence in Bengal.
