Three Neighbors

Solution Step 0/0
Three neighbors live in a gated compound. Each of their houses is painted a different color; and each has a private gate that is painted to match the house.

Ideally, all three houses would be connected to their own gates by paths that do not cross any of the other paths. But as it can be seen, there is a problem so far: two paths intersect.

It is enough to re-path only one of the three paths to avoid any crossings. Which path it should be?

Explanations

It is enough to re-draw the BLUE path, as is shown in the diagram, to avoid any potential conflicts between the neighbors.
